SOME QUOTES I LIKE:
Long before having arrived at this part of my work, a crowd of difficulties will have occurred to the reader. Some of them are so grave that to this day I can never reflect on them without being staggered; but, to the best of my judgment, the greater number are only apparent, and those that are real are not, I think, fatal... (Darwin, 1859)

If a man will stand up and assert, and repeat and reassert, that two and two do not make four, I know of nothing in the power of argument that can stop him. (Lincoln, 1854)

it is obvious that it is the first duty of a hypothesis to be intelligible (Huxley, 1863)

VERY RECENT FIELD WORK IN ALASKA

Our named-in-jest #WorldsGreatestEcoEvoExpt involves releasing different types of stickleback into 10 lakes from which fish had been eliminated (to remove invasive species) via Rotenone. Here is what a release looks like - happy stickleback swimming off the populate the lake. pic.twitter.com/Sl588DJ9F4

Progress on #WorldsGreatestEcoEvoExpt. Stickleback from 8 source lakes are combined into 2 pools (1 benthic, 1 limnetic). Recipient lakes are in 4 pairs based on size - 1 lake of each pair gets the benthic pool and the other gets the limnetic pool. The 4 smallest lakes are done! pic.twitter.com/dzmSgkpXU5
